Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Human Resource Management Directorate of the Public Service Commission.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of a robust human resource information system (HRIS) for data-driven decision-making.
- Represent the Public Service Commission at national and international forums on human resource management and public administration.
- Mentor and develop senior HR professionals within the directorate, building a strong succession pipeline.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the Commission and Parliament on the state of human resource management in the public service.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
- An Honours Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field from a recognized university.
- A Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related discipline.
- Professional certification in Human Resource Management from a recognized international or national body (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant working experience, with at least five (5) years at a senior management level in a large, complex organization, preferably in the public sector.
- Demonstrated experience in formulating and implementing HR policies and strategies at a national or large organizational level.
- Proven track record of leading and managing diverse teams and driving organizational change.
- Membership in a recognized professional HR body (e.g., HRMAU) is required.
- Must be a person of high integrity, with excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in HR information systems and data analytics.
