Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of senior-level implementation for new features across the full-stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases.
- Implement full test automation for all work produced, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing, to maintain a culture of quality and ownership.
- Manage projects from a technical perspective, guiding them from initial concept through to successful launch, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Solve complex but engaging technical challenges, researching and proposing innovative solutions to improve product performance and scalability.
- Research, test, and implement new techniques, frameworks, and technologies to keep the platform modern and efficient.
- Collaborate closely with team members on design patterns, coding standards, and best practices, contributing to code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Work within a distributed engineering team across time zones, using asynchronous communication and periodic sync meetings to stay aligned.
- Maintain and improve existing systems with a focus on minimizing technical debt and ensuring smooth operation of the platform.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on C# and .NET/.NET Core, ideally within SaaS products.
- Proven experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Ember.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong experience developing and consuming Web APIs (RESTful services).
- Advanced SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
- Extensive experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and test automation, covering both unit and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, specifically Microsoft Azure (Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
- A track record of taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality results on time.
Skills Inventory
