Key Responsibilities

Role Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
- A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- At least three years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a public sector or large organization.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Uganda, including the Income Tax Act and VAT Act.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel (advanced level).
- Experience with financial reconciliation, audit support, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
