Senior Software Engineer (Remote) - Application Development & System Performance

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, installation, and configuration of new hardware and software systems to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to management on processes, techniques, and tools required to improve work operations and enhance system efficiency.
• Install and configure systems, software, and operating systems, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and security protocols.
• Test installed software to detect malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Identify and resolve business systems issues by conducting thorough system analysis, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems to meet evolving business needs.
• Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems through performance metrics, user feedback, and system logs.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability across all platforms.
• Monitor and test system performance on a regular basis, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in software application development, modification, and maintenance.
• Seven (7) years of experience in technology solutions development and technical problem resolution.
• Seven (7) years of experience in system analysis, software testing, debugging, and code optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve common objectives.
• Proven ability to conduct system analysis to detect performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Experience developing and implementing technology solutions to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and business requirements.
• Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and how to integrate them seamlessly.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
