Job Summary

Edify is a U.S.-registered non-profit organization operating in 16 countries across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Its mission is to see flourishing, godly nations by improving and expanding sustainable Christ-centered education globally. Edify serves low-fee independent Christ-centered schools through loans, training, and education technology. The Christ-Centered Education Officer (CCEO) will play a facilitative role in Ghana, supporting the strategic direction and coordination of Edify's efforts to integrate Christ-centered values into educational programs. This full-time role is based in one of Ghana's key regions: Ashanti, Eastern, or Volta. The CCEO will work closely with partner schools, local Christian networks, and Edify's regional and global teams to enhance educational outcomes, spiritual formation, and school sustainability. The position offers a unique opportunity to impact the next generation of leaders in Ghana while developing professional skills in education, coaching, and program management. The start date is October 1, 2026, and applications are accepted through August 31, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with Edify partner schools, local Christian school networks, and other strategic partners to foster program growth.
  • Facilitate the formation of school transformation committees and discipleship clubs among partner schools, and support the creation of Christ-centered school networks.
  • Visit partner schools regularly to consult with owners, head teachers, and administrators, using Edify's Outcome Map to drive educational improvements.
  • Design, deliver, and supervise training on biblical worldview, leadership, and teaching skills for school leaders and teachers.
  • Monitor and assess the implementation of training programs through follow-up visits and consultations, ensuring alignment with Edify's objectives.
  • Contribute to Edify's strategy for Christ-centered education, setting short-term objectives and evaluating progress against key metrics.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Christ-centered education programs, including planning, organizing, leading, and assessment.
  • Ensure effective database management, including data entry, maintenance, and reporting in Salesforce and other platforms.
  • Prepare and submit weekly updates, monthly reports, and quarterly summaries to Edify and stakeholders, highlighting impact and key metrics.
  • Attend national, regional, and global prayer events, and participate in the annual all-staff meeting, which may be held in the U.S. or internationally.
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Program Lead, Christ-Centered Education.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in education, accounting and finance, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is an added advantage.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in education, international development, community development, or youth development.
  • Experience in the education sector as an administrator, educator, or consultant is preferred.
  • Experience in Christian ministry leadership is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing programs and managing budgets.
  • Proven experience as a coach or mentor to individuals or teams.
  • Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to Edify's mission.
  • Living example of servant leadership, humility, and a willingness to learn.
  • High degree of integrity and passion for alleviating global poverty.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to take self-directed initiative.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Must be capable of designing and delivering effective presentations.
  • Strong leadership development and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong technology skills, including Google Drive, database entry, and email/WhatsApp communication.
  • Reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn, innovate, and grow.

Salary & Compensation Estimation

For a mid-level role such as this, the annual salary is estimated to be between GHS 120,000 and GHS 180,000 (approximately USD 10,000 to USD 15,000). Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, previous experience, and the organization's budget.
