Job Summary
PwC UK is seeking an experienced EPM and FP&A Senior Manager to join its Finance Solutions practice within the Digital Core Modernisation team in London. This is a senior leadership role for a finance transformation specialist who wants to shape how complex global organisations reinvent planning, budgeting, and forecasting. As a Senior Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of high-profile Enterprise Performance Management programmes, designing target operating models, defining data foundations, and embedding AI capabilities into the future of finance. You will sit at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, working with C-suite stakeholders to deliver intelligent, high-performance planning capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream EPM and FP&A programmes, managing quality, commercials, risk, and outcomes across combined deliveries.
- Design target operating models and end-to-end FP&A processes across the full planning lifecycle, including strategic planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, driver-based planning, predictive planning, scenario modelling, and management reporting.
- Define the data foundations that underpin great planning, including data models, hierarchies, master data, integration principles, and data quality standards to make FP&A processes robust and scalable.
- Lead integrated business planning across finance and operations, connecting revenue, workforce, OpEx, CapEx, cash flow, and profitability planning into a coherent enterprise view.
- Build and sustain ongoing relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor, growing accounts, and shaping long-term transformation roadmaps.
- Facilitate business requirement definition workshops with senior Finance and IT stakeholders, challenging thinking, shaping the operating model, and bringing planning processes to life.
- Identify opportunities to embed Gen AI and Agentic AI into the planning function to enhance forecasting, insight generation, automation, and decision-making.
- Lead and grow mixed onshore and offshore delivery teams, mentoring managers and consultants, and building the next generation of EPM and FP&A talent.
- Contribute to proposals, go-to-market strategy, and the ongoing growth of the EPM practice.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong FP&A and EPM background with deep, proven experience designing end-to-end planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes covering revenue, workforce, OpEx, CapEx, cash flow, and management reporting.
- Expertise across multiple types of planning that support FP&A, including strategic and long-range planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, driver-based planning, predictive and scenario planning, and integrated business planning.
- Senior stakeholder management experience up to C-suite level, both within and beyond implementation projects, with a track record of building and owning long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Strong data design capability to define data models, hierarchies, master data, and integration principles that underpin high-quality planning and reporting.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end delivery of complex EPM and FP&A programmes, owning quality, commercials, risk, and delivery across combined engagements.
- Experience developing estimating models and shaping commercially robust proposals and delivery approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business requirement definition with senior Finance stakeholders, translating business needs into process and capability, and challenging thinking where needed.
- A business and finance process-oriented mindset that confidently brings together technology, data, and finance.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and build trust in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Salary & Compensation Estimation
For a Senior Manager role at PwC UK in London, the typical base salary ranges from GBP 110,000 to GBP 150,000 per annum, depending on experience and client portfolio. Additional compensation includes a performance-related bonus (typically 10-20% of base salary), private medical cover, 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP, six volunteering days per year, pension contributions, and a flexible benefits package. The role also offers empowered flexibility with a working week split between office, home, and client site. Total compensation, including bonus and benefits, can reach GBP 140,000 to GBP 180,000 annually.
