Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure goods and services in strict alignment with company procurement policies, ensuring the best value for money.

- Ensure full compliance with procurement laws, company policies, and ethical standards; assist in internal and external audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure seamless inbound and outbound material flows.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers, vetting them for financial stability, quality certifications, and reliability.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns, in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in tender processes, including preparation of request for quotations (RFQs), evaluation of bids, and award recommendations.
- Generate and present procurement reports, KPI dashboards, and spend analysis to management on a regular basis.
- Stay updated on market trends, commodity prices, and regulatory changes that may affect procurement strategies.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive procurement experience within a reputable organization, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors.
- Must be a registered member of the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB) in Tanzania.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from sourcing to contract close-out.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
- High level of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
Skills Inventory
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for procurement and inventory management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint.

Salary & Compensation Estimation
