Job Summary

Network IT is seeking a Senior AI / Software Engineer to lead the development and optimization of next-generation conversational AI solutions, including voice and text agents. This hands-on role focuses on building production-grade systems that deliver measurable business impact. You will work at the core of the client's product, designing, developing, and fine-tuning intelligent voice and chat experiences while scaling AI agent deployments as the customer portfolio grows. The ideal candidate is passionate about LLMs, conversational AI, speech technologies, and production-ready AI systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize production AI voice and text agents to meet client-specific requirements and performance targets.
• Develop and refine dialogue flows, prompt frameworks, and evaluation systems to enhance conversational quality and accuracy.
• Improve speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) pipelines for performance, quality, and accuracy, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Build, test, and deploy conversational text bots and campaign variants, iterating based on performance data and user feedback.
• Own the configuration and optimization of client-specific AI agent implementations, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop scalable integrations using APIs and backend services, connecting AI systems with external platforms and tools.
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI performance in production environments, using data-driven insights to drive enhancements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to deliver best-in-class conversational experiences that meet business objectives.
• Contribute to AI engineering standards, best practices, and technical direction, helping to elevate the overall engineering culture.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience building and deploying LLM-powered voice and/or text applications in production settings.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python, including proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience developing and maintaining production-scale systems, with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and AI quality measurement techniques.
• Experience integrating and managing APIs, including RESTful services and third-party integrations.
• Strong version control practices using GitHub, including branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical deliverables from concept through to production.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
