Position Overview

A professional and caring nanny is needed to join a wonderful Ugandan family residing in Kampala. This full-time live-in or live-out position offers a rewarding opportunity to become an integral part of a warm household, providing attentive childcare and support to the family.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care, safety, and development of the children, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties include supervising play, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, assisting with homework and educational activities, and maintaining a clean and organized children's area.

Additional responsibilities may include light household tasks related to the children, such as laundry and tidying up playrooms. The nanny will collaborate with parents to establish consistent routines and positive behavior guidance, always respecting the family's values and cultural traditions.

This role requires a proactive, trustworthy, and patient individual who genuinely enjoys working with children. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to the family's schedule, which may include occasional evening or weekend hours. Experience with infant or toddler care is highly valued, as is basic first aid knowledge.
