Senior Software Engineer, Royalties (Fully Remote, US and Latin America only)

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of application features from conception to deployment, including building, deploying, and iterating on them end to end.
• Work across both backend and frontend to design, architect, and scale the core platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Ensure high performance, accuracy, and security for global user groups handling massive data streams and complex royalties calculations.
• Collaborate directly with the Chief Product Officer and Lead Engineers to align technical work with the broader product vision.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform, identifying bottlenecks and proposing innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of excellence and ownership.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies to maintain high engineering standards.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of overall hands-on software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing royalties software OR deep experience with accounting and finance or SaaS.
• Technical proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js, Pinia, TypeScript, MongoDB, AI/LLMs, or DevOps tools is a major plus.
• Thrive in a startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
• Analytical, goal-oriented, and proactive in solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.
• No specific degree required; relevant experience and demonstrated skills are paramount.

Salary & Compensation Estimation

The posted salary range is $100,000 to $150,000 per year for US-based candidates, commensurate with experience and local pay scale. For candidates based outside the US, compensation will be aligned with local market rates and experience.
