We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Software Engineering to lead our backend engineering efforts for international repayment products. Role Requirements & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant backend development expertise.
• 1+ years of direct engineering management experience, including team building, mentoring, and performance management.
• Proven track record of architecting, building, launching, and maintaining consumer-facing products at scale.
• Strong experience with backend technologies such as Java, Python, Go, or similar, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep understanding of software design principles, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus.
• Experience in the fintech or lending industry is a plus, particularly knowledge of loan lifecycle and delinquency assessment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Must be based in Spain, as remote work is country-specific.

Salary & Compensation Estimation

FlexBoard offers a competitive salary within the range of €101,000 to €131,000 per year, based on experience and location.
