Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned M&A transactions professional to join a dynamic real estate business on a 6-month fixed-term contract or day-rate basis. As the Manager of Transactional Finance, you will take full ownership of transaction processes across buy-side, sell-side, and financing/refinancing workstreams. Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will provide clear and timely updates on live transactions and financings, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to close. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver end-to-end transaction processes for buy-side, sell-side, and financing/refinancing activities.
  • Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating with external advisors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure thorough analysis and risk assessment.
  • Prepare and review financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memoranda to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain transaction trackers, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Liaise with lenders, investors, and other counterparties to facilitate financing and refinancing arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks throughout each transaction.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or bottlenecks, proposing pragmatic solutions to keep deals on track.
  • Support post-transaction integration activities, ensuring smooth transition and operational continuity.
  • Assist in the preparation of board papers, presentations, and other communication materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and comparable transactions to inform strategy and negotiation positions.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in M&A transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar role within a real estate or asset-heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing multiple transactions concurrently, from origination through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial metrics, property valuation methods, and capital markets structures.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to start on short notice is advantageous.
