Cloud/.Net Developer Junior

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of the software development team in an Agile iterative CI/CD environment.
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices.
• Utilize full-stack development expertise in .NET web applications including C#, unit testing, NUnit testing techniques, and deployment actions.
• Design, build, and develop in a web-based application that utilizes cloud native services and architecture.
• Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues on various problems and solutions.
• Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, and more.
• Resolve application defects in a timely fashion.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application meets contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.
• Provide development support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
• Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and GIT.
• Work comfortably with Windows operating systems and environments.
• Implement long-term solutions and building blocks within the agile framework for improved reusability.
• Participate in regular meetings and ceremonies such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Demos, Retrospectives, Risk meetings, and more.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or an equivalent/related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust that requires US citizenship.
• Knowledge of system design and development with Microsoft .NET environment tools.
• Experience with .NET framework and C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with scripting languages such as bash, python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Postgres.
• Working knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API development.
• Experience with XML and JSON.
• Experience using Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and GIT.
• Experience with the Azure Cloud platform.
• Familiarity with AI/ML is a plus.
• Experience with section 508 and accessibility coding approaches is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.

Salary & Compensation Estimation

Based on the junior level, remote nature, and location, the estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year. This range is derived from typical compensation for junior .NET developers with 0-2 years of experience in the US, adjusted for the remote work option and the requirement of a Public Trust clearance. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and geographic location.
