Job Summary

Choice Talents LTD, a dynamic recruitment and business solutions firm, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Finance Relationship Officer to join their growing team. This role is based in Lagos and Abuja and offers a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a strong sales and business development background. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding the loan and investment portfolio. This is a full-time position that requires a blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share, with a focus on loans and investment products.
• Generate leads and bring in new business, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential clients.
• Implement the company's business development and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Assess the creditworthiness of potential clients and recommend appropriate credit facilities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals to attract new clients.
• Contribute to the company's growth strategies by identifying emerging market trends and opportunities.
• Oversee the loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and minimal default rates.
• Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
• Effectively monitor accounts under management and ensure sound credit judgment to maintain credible loans.
• Work to reduce the number of non-performing loans to the barest minimum.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• HND or BSc degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, and credit management in the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial products.
• Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary & Compensation Estimation

The estimated annual salary for this role in Lagos, Nigeria, ranges between 2,500,000 and 4,000,000 NGN, depending on experience and qualifications. This equates to approximately 3,300 to 5,300 USD. Compensation may include performance-based bonuses and commissions, which can increase the total package significantly. The final offer will be based on the candidate's background and expertise.
