Finance Manager, FP&A, EMEA

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation, review, and reporting of budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting packages (MRPs) for EMEA TV Distribution and Home Entertainment.
• Prepare concise, insightful management reports that help commercial teams understand performance, risk levels, and variance drivers.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for RPM (sales planning system) and EPM (forecasting system), ensuring data integrity and optimal usage.
• Act as a primary liaison between Home Office Finance in Los Angeles, EMEA territory finance teams, and Global Financial Operations in Gdynia, Poland.
• Build and maintain robust financial models to support commercial decision-making and evaluate emerging revenue streams.
• Support stakeholders with ad hoc business analysis, providing actionable insights to drive performance improvement.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls for all planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Sony accounting policies and IFRS.
• Monitor and improve working capital positions, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize cash flow.
• Champion process improvement initiatives, including standardization, optimization, and automation, to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead the adoption of new AI tools and technologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with RTR, PTP, OTC, Statutory, Tax, and other teams to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
• Present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; typically educated to degree level.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Finance, with a strong focus on FP&A, planning, and analysis.
• Fully qualified or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Valid UK immigration permission to work and reside in the United Kingdom for the duration of employment.
• Proficiency in Essbase and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and complex data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
• Experience working across multiple territories or within an international or regional organization is advantageous.
• Experience in media, entertainment, TV distribution, or Home Entertainment is beneficial but not essential.

Salary & Compensation Estimation
