Job Summary

Rose International, a leading provider of staffing and workforce solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior C# and .NET Software Engineer for a remote, work-from-home opportunity. This role is integral to supporting the Frontier AI remediation project, where you will develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using C# and the .NET Framework, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design, develop, and integrate APIs and application services to support seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
• Maintain and improve ASP.NET web applications, including .NET Web Forms, to meet evolving business requirements.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting of application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective, lasting solutions.
• Analyze application performance metrics and make data-driven improvements to optimize speed, scalability, and resource usage.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and code optimization to deliver bug-free, efficient code.
• Utilize SQL Server and write complex SQL queries to troubleshoot application data issues and support database-related tasks.
• Install, configure, and support application software and related systems in production and test environments.
• Document technical findings, solutions, and application changes to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
• Collaborate with developers, technology teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
• Support the Frontier AI remediation project by enhancing and maintaining applications critical to its success.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on C# and the .NET Framework.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining ASP.NET web applications, including familiarity with .NET Web Forms.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience with SQL Server, including writing advanced SQL queries and understanding database design concepts.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and code optimization best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple development tasks simultaneously and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the designated country for this remote position (United States).

Skills Inventory

• Expert proficiency in C# and .NET Framework (including .NET Core is a plus).
• Strong experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and Web Forms.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedure development.
• Experience with API development and integration (RESTful, SOAP).
• Knowledge of Argo Data is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with application performance analysis tools and optimization techniques.
• Experience supporting and enhancing enterprise-level applications.
